National American Miss Pageants

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I spend my summers working for National American Miss Pageants. This is my first summer working staff full time instead of being an overall judge. Kara Adams and I headed to KY Thursday-Tuesday to work for NAM. We had the worst time getting there, after having our 7am flight canceled, having to wait 5 hours in Detroit to get another connection flight after missing the original connection, and not getting into KY till 11:30pm! Talk about a stressful time. We were so happy to fall into our hotel beds that night, I don't think I have slept that well in a long time.
But as the week went on, our luck grew and we had a great time. I consider the staff and queens with NAM my second family, and it was so great to see everyone again. Kara and I even found some fun iron statues to take pictures with and laugh off our horrible flight! We are home for a day and half and leave again Thursday for a week in Franklin, Tennessee
